7,077-yard layout was designed by Thomas Walker. Don't worry if
you've never heard of him; if this place reaches its potential, you'll
surely be seeing more of his name in the future.
Canyon Springs is set in a scenic oak forest covering a series of
hills. The isolated routing makes you feel as if you're on top of a
private mountain, as no two fairways run parallel. Some might expect a
tricked-up course with wild elevation swings and long forced carries.
Instead, the design blends in with its environment instead of taking
advantage of it. This
course is sure to please even the most discriminate player!

Player Notes about
this Course -
One of our most original and scenic designs incorporating hills,
valleys, bluffs, natural springs, this was the site of the last
stagecoach stop back in the wild west period. There are several
dramatic carries from many of the intermediate and back tees making the
thought process off the tee somewhat focused. But the greens are
oversized and easy to hit once you are on the fairways. This is a
class-act effort by the management team and will certainly be one of
the more memorable plays here in San Antone!
