Cypresswood Golf Club is one
of the most prominent daily fee golf complexes in the Southern United States.
Situated on over 800 acres of rolling, heavily wooded terrain along the
confluence of Spring and Cypress creeks, this 54-hole golf facility offers
three unique golf experiences and the finest of playing conditions.
The Tradition course at
Cypresswood opened in 1997 and was designed by Keith Foster - a well
known golf course architect famous for his work at Walking Stick, Bighorn,
The Bandit and The Quarry. The Tradition course has been rated the
#1 daily fee course in the Houston area by the Houston Chronicle for four
consecutive years. The Tradition will play host to the 1st Stage of the
2005 PGA Qualifying Tournament in October.
The Creek and the Cypress
courses earned Golf Digest’s ranking of the “Best New Course” in 1988 and
1989, respectively. The golf cousres offer a challenging and exciting
golfing experience, with dramatic topography and are nestled within the
native forest of North Houston. |

Wildcat is Houston golf with
a touch of the Hill Country... even a touch of Colorado's Rocky Mountain
foothills, according to the Houston Chronicle's Eddie Sefko.
But it's pure Houston. Only ten minutes
from downtown, Wildcat rises from the flat Texas terrain to create a golf
experience like no other in the area --
-
500-plus acres of dramatic elevation
changes, rising as high as 100 feet
-
Tumbling fairways amidst wetlands and
natural grass fields
-
Acres of seemingly countless lakes
-
Spectacular up-close panoramas of the
Houston skyline
To ensure optimal playing surfaces,
Wildcat golfers tread only the finest turf grasses: TifSport Bermuda covers
the fairways and roughs; TifEagle Bermuda yields smooth, consistent greens.
On both The Highlands Course,
with a bit of a Scottish flair, and the more traditional Lakes Course,
renowned architect Roy Case has combined playability with exciting challenges
to provide golfers a delightful golf experience regardless of skill level. |

Designed by PGA TOUR Professional
Peter Jacobsen and golf course designer Jim Hardy, BlackHorse features
two 18-hole championship courses, and an impeccably maintained practice
range, short game and putting areas.
North Course
Carved into a lush landscape of lakes,
wetlands and a meandering creek, the North Course plays between 5,065 and
7,301 yards. TifSport fairways and TifEagle greens provide optimal playing
conditions, and each hole is uniquely sculpted to provide an eclectic range
of environmental changes throughout your round.
South Course
A journey through scenic corridors
of elm, ash and oak trees sculpted around large lakes guide golfers to
the culmination of the South Course, which plays from 4,946 to 7,158 yards.
The final six holes, meticulously designed to challenge golfers of all
levels, play through an expansive sand quarry transformed into a colorful
array of wetlands. Players will enjoy the optimal playing conditions of
TifSport fairways and TifEagle greens. |

High Meadow Ranch Golf Club is
one of the premiere daily golf facilities in the greater Houston area.
Built on the spectacular terrain of southwest Montgomery County, the course
sits inside the rustic country development, High Meadow Ranch. Here you
will find land blessed with large stands of native pine trees, towering
oaks, dense hardwoods and natural ravines nestled into peaceful surrounds.
The Forest Loop: The first six holes
wind across natural ravines and through a forest of majestic oaks and towering
pine trees, reminiscent of some of the great traditional golf courses in
the Houston area.
The Pine Barrens Loop: Routed across
the upper ridge lines of the property on land once mined for iron ore,
these six holes feature large fairway landing areas, sweeping greens and
native grass waste areas that invoke images of the pine forested golf courses
in the eastern United States.
The Signature Loop: The finishing
loop of holes offers a combination of elevation changes, deep woods and
native areas that provide one of the area's most scenic and dramatic finishes.
The elevated eighteenth green, fronted by a creek and protected by an imposing
rock wall, provides a spectacular finishing hole. |

Redstone Golf Club's new Tournament
Course, home course of the Shell Houston Open, is one of only 11 courses
in the country open to the public that hosts a PGA TOUR event ! Varying
in length between 5,200 and 7,550 yards, the course features Mini Verdie
greens and Tif Sport fairways and tees and was designed by the legendary
Rees Jones with PGA TOUR Professional David Toms serving as course design
consultant.
Since entering the field of golf
course architecture in 1964, Rees Jones has designed or redesigned more
than 100 golf courses, many of which are widely recognized to be among
the very best in the game. A number of courses designed or significantly
remodeled by Jones have hosted or been selected as sites for major national
and international tournaments, and PGA TOUR players around the world have
praised his ability to design courses that are straightforward, yet challenging.
The Tournament Course is uniquely
free from any housing development, so you and your guests can enjoy a round
that feels like you are worlds away, event though you are just 15 miles
from downtown Houston and five miles from George Bush Intercontinental
Airport. Treat yourself, your favorite golfer or your most discriminating
client to a round of golf on the Tournament Course, and play where the
pros play!
